in another few hours it'll be a new year!!! in one way i can't wait for it to come, but another was wishing the year wouldn't end that fast, as if there's so many things that i haven't achieve yet, but i'll be getting one year older nevertheless. i did sneak in some shandy though, hey, it's not really an alcoholic drink with just 5% alcoholic content.. :p and by the way, i just realized this will be my last posting for the year!
there is no holiday on new year in Johor though, which i can't freaking understand, it's a new year people!!! have a break and reflect on what your're going to do!! and i have a 6 credit class that i can't afford to miss, new year spirit eh? being busy and working on the first day of the year already!!! argh!!!! forgoing new year countdowns and late night celebrations, me and my coursemates are gonna have all night long movie marathon to celebrate anyway. who says we can't party!! :)
speaking of the coming new year, the government did give us rakyat a surprise already, which is a price hike on sugar and white bread. i'm ok with the price of sugar increasing (we shouldn't take too much sugar anyway), but why increase the price of white bread? as a student eating bread for breakfast, lunch and dinner is a norm for me when i get too lazy too go to the cafeteria. my RM2.10 bread is going to be RM2.35 i guess, (maybe a little more expensive) starting from tomorrow. new year new pricing eh? now i'm wondering if there'll be a queue outside 7-eleven or the grocery stores where people will be stacking up on white bread already. what a great start to a new year!
to everybody out there who are staying in states that declare tomorrow as a public holiday, lucky you, with a long weekend and everything. go out and celebrate! party, and be merry! as for me, my party is going to start anytime soon :)
