the new chanel chic knot

i love love love the classic version of chanel's quilted 2.55 and although the new chanel chic knot has undergo changes to make it look more modern, upbeat and erm, dare i say, rugged with the knots? this bag gives me the i'm-not-too-sure-about-it vibe.

well, maybe this wouldn't happen if

1. i already own a classic chanel 2.55 like this one

or

2.  i already own 327896546 chanel 2.55 in all the colors and materials that existed before the chanel chic knot.

apparently it cost USD3800, which is approximately RM 11,780 (gasp!) with the current exchange rate i'm saying it's a steal! (although i'm pretty sure it's unavailable in malaysia. it's from the fall collection).

occasionally i'm appalled with people who are willing to fork out THAT amount of money just for a bag !(when clearly using the best material possible including real gold hardware wouldn't cost you that much). it's obvious the extensive PR and marketing paid of. i wouldn't mind buying one if i earn gazillions or, more realistically, 15k a month maybe?

here's to that 15k a month salary *clink*
