Ayo! Makkassar :)

Yay! i've finally grab a hold on the wifi *my bro took it away to school*, so here's part of the photo's from my trip to makassar.

it's my first time editing, so i hope the pictures are ok :)

the flight: makassar, about to touch down. the place is so pretty from above! it's all boxes of paddy fields with all the range of greens that you can think of. for me it looks a lil bit like the layered kuih* cakes* hehehe

the exited and happy faces....:)

my roomie!! :)

the quaint little bakso stall. the streets of makassar smells really good because the smell of bakso lingers at every corner ! *too bad i can't taste them cos they're made of beef
:( *

kids running away from us ...

they were really shy!!! you had no idea how long it took us to cajole them into taking a pic...the shortest lil guy was the bravest of them all, his friends was hiding behind him!!

the be-mo, it's actually a short term for beca (trishaw) and motor (motorbike) but this one is pulled by a bicycle....apparently it's 15,000 rupiah per ride because we're foreigners =.='' we didn't took a ride on it :(

So we stayed a night at makassar before heading of to bone, read as bo-ne. the ride was crazy! the street was so narrow and some were in between very huge rocks!, and we passed by many valleys. there were many times that we thought the bus might scratch the opposite car but it didn't happen. honking is like a way of driving because it's the way to warn cars at the opposite, or as a signal to tell the car in front that you're coming through. the ride was super bumpy, well actually all the rides we had was bumpy, to a point were when we were on smoother surface all of us felt weird...

although the way they drive were crazy, we didn't spot any accidents at all! and there wasn't any street lights along the way to bone . imagine travelling at night *gasp*

to be continued :)
