the day i lost part of my tooth

i'm in an all time low mood right now.

today i lost part of my tooth.

part of my molar/wisdom tooth.

it happened when i was eating my plate of fried rice for dinner.

chew.chew. chew *CRUNCH* OW!!!!

*CRACK*

OWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW!!!

suddenly the whole world stopped in it's footsteps.

for a second i thought i lost the whole piece of that tooth.

there was a f*&*king piece of rock in my rice!

my tongue went and survey the tooth.

initially i though some part of the rock was stuck in the tooth so i used my hand to try and pull it out. i almost fainted when i saw it was part of my tooth!

ok i consider myself lucky to still have part of the tooth, only the side of the tooth is damaged, but the surface is so jagged that i got my tongue cut. too bad i would only know the level of damage once i visit the dentist tomorrow.

my dad, mum, bro and granny's respond to the incident: how the hell did you eat your rice?

well i was chewing but i guess the impact sort of damage my tooth. i mean, rocks isn't one of the main ingredients in fried rice, right?

darn. i wonder how much will teeth smoothening/ polishing will cost me.

moral of the story : stay away from rice for the sake of saving your teeth.

your welcome.

an update: went to the dentist to grind part of the jagged tooth. now that particular tooth is in a very odd shape, as the dentist wouldn't grind it till it's smooth because there's the enamel that has to protect the nerves and stuff inside the tooth.

side effects: yes. the tooth is sensitive now, as i have to try and avoid drinking cold drinks. i adore cold desserts. now i have to *try* to stay away from them for the sake of my tooth.

darn.
