is it ok if i tell you that i really want to go to new york too?

maybe i should rephrase the title.

it should be, "is it ok if i tell you that i really want to live in new york too?"

i may have not post it here before, but i have been wanting to live in new york since forever.

there's 3 cities that i would really really want to live in the whole wide world. 3. just 3. but the one that i want to live in the most is new york. i use to tell mum that i would just go to new york and live and not care about what it would take. but as i grew up more conscious planning started, and it was like, whatever i do, i'm so going to work in new york for at least 3 months. it's the only way to get to know a city so big! and then i stumble upon this page telling me about, : so,you wanna move to new york huh? and listed out all the details. it was one of the happiest moment in my life. like happy and do a crazy dance moment. for a moment i was afraid. i was afraid to share it for fear that if more people know about where to get a apartment, by the time i can afford to land my feet there, there wouldn't be anymore places for me to rent anymore! yeah, unnecessary paranoia, but we're talking about hundreds and thousands of people flocking to new york hoping to make it big someday.

me? wanting to make it big there? it's not in my list YET. the one and only reason i have right now is i really want to get to know the city. not touristy like, not bag packer-ish type either, but more to know new york like a new yorker.  i'm pretty sure i'm not the only one who is intrigue by how big and sparkly and unique the city is. but every time i think of new york, only 2 images pop up in my mind. one is the view of central park, and of course, times square. i've heard so much about new york, and seen part of the city thanks to gossip girl. and personally i think central park is the best-est and most romantic park on earth. and the idea of preserving a park in the middle of a concrete jungle? beyond brilliant! and i love how organised and neat and arranged all their buildings are. but, there is so much to new york than the department stores, central park and times square, and i just can't wait to go and explore all of new york someday.

i just really want to live in new york. i can't really tell you most of the reasons behind this but i'm sure you'll get it too.

:)
