RM 1million? :)

when i was in primary school my teacher use to ask the whole class to write an essay about how we're going to spend 1 million, and we would end up writing that we would buy the biggest house in the wold, a toy store and all the candy in the world.

it's more than 10 years since that, (12 i guess? gosh i can't believe it was so long ago , a decade!!), and i've never really accounted to how much 1 million ringgit could really buy me.... so here's a look at how you can spend it, virtually :)

a birkin bag ---RM 30, 000 well, it's the unofficial bag for those who wants to flaunt thier new found wealth.

an iPhone 4, 16GB, ---RM900 (well this is an estimation only, price taken from apple.com, i bet it would cost at least 1k when this baby arrive to our shore..

an iPad, to complement that iPhone... ---RM 2000

a BMW Z4 convertible---rm250,000

Shoes, shoes, shoes!!! a girl can never have to many too many pairs of shoes ;)

i have to admit, i actually ran out of ideas of what to buy. can you believe that by actually buying all the items above you'd have none of you 1 million left? but i have to admit it's not a shabby amount of money, a decent house , car and a birkin? not bad!! (for me :))

anyway here's another fool proof way to make sure this 1 million of yours never evaporates, put it in a savings account! the annual interest of 1.5% per annum means you earn 150,000 !! guaranteed!!

put it in a fixed deposit account for an interest of 2.25% means you earn 225,000 a year! (but this means you can't withdraw the money for a stipulated time..)
