words

"some are out with ghoulies in disguise, flying high with angelic wings. some strumming melancholic lullaby's, wiping away salt water droplets. some playing harmony, on glass pipes with angel dustings. some in bed, having had their pre-dawn meal in preparation for the day ahead. some eagerly anticipating daylight, when slumber will mercifully seize their sight. some over yonder, still waiting for the night."

i got these  from writer ida nerina's article titled "fragile and precious". the words above are so beautifully penned i reread it again and again in the hopes of memorizing it. the article ends with:

"others have already left, on the boat i barely missed. watch over all of them please, for i love them very dearly too."

i have been following her article (on the star's star 2 every sunday) since my semester holidays, and i didn't know that she as an actress can write so wittily. i love the way she writes (may i add, so effortlessly?), and she's bold about it, and her articles aren't always coated with sugar but with things that she's going through, whether they are nice or uncomfortable/ugly. hey, we're all humans we have down days too. i'm aware that ida nerina fell from a horse some time ago and had a spinal injury. i'm not sure if she can walk on both legs again, but i do definitely pray that she would one day walk again. i've never watched any of her movies, but i'm pretty sure the movie industry and her fans misses her. do get better soon.
