A little adventure
it's our second day in utm kl. initially we we're suppose to be at the studio by 10am in the morning, but seeing that we went back to the hostel at 6.30 in the morning (where we saw people who were walking past us, all dressed up and ready to work, while we, were getting ready to sleep.. talk about switched lifestyle eh?), none of us were back at the studio on time, well, i did had a very vivid dream that i was awake and heading to the studio though =.='
anyway all of us were so good today, busy preparing for the workshop and not abandoning our work, so naturally all of us were itching to go out for a walk (and dinner! lately i realize coming to this workshop has made me miss normal meal times and sleeping hours even worse than how it was when i was back in university. at least we know where we can find food. can you imagine for the past few weeks me and my course mates have been ordering miodnight mcd delivery 5 times!! we're starving!! it's lunch+dinner+supper!! poor us...)
so there actually was a selera semarak selling food, but 2 of my guy course mates wanted to venture out further, so fine, i would lead the way since i'm from kl, but god knows i've never step foot in jalan semarak and the area near it before! we walked further down the road, really far away, and there's only army camps surrounding us when all my other course mates started to change their mind about going far to look for yummy food.
me being the stubborn one naturally reassure them that they wont get lost and we should just venture out further, hop on any bus that comes our way and see how things go! when actually deep down i was memorizing all the bus numbers that was passing by so i can remember how to lead them back hahah,. it was like hansel and gretel except we didn't have bread crumbs =.=' taxi wasn't allowed as they wanted to have an adventure and that would be just an easy way out! so we ended up taking a bus, without knowing where we want to go!
well i guess the bus driver sort of know we were lost because the first thing he asked us all is " may pergi mana?" (where do you want to go?) and all of us went erm erm ah....and i just mumble some random place when he said "tak de pergi situ la dik!" (the bus is not heading there! ) and luckily i recalled the name of the place that was displayed at the front part of the bus when he went, are you sure you want to go there? it's quite far! =.=' in my mind i was like can't you just give me my bus tickets and let me go wherever i want?
so all of us were in the bus for a good 20 minutes when we all realize that there wasn't any potential restaurant that we can just go and have some food. but finally we spotted the jusco signage and thought we should just head there. too bad the bus didn't head there and we walked for another good 15 minutes before we reached the place. and the funny thing was when we ask for directions from the bus driver and passerby's the way to jusco all of them said head to the police station, you'll know by then! fml =.=', my other friend was like "do we all look like troubled teenagers running away from home? =.='
finally we had the dinner that we were longing for in the first place, and thankfully it was filling and tasty, and we had to walk back to the main road for another 15 minutes to catch the bus, and thank god the bus arrived after another 20 minutes of waiting. thank god. thankfully the journey back was easier than how we arrived. we left the studio at 6 and when we came back it was 10pm, and all this just for dinner!
i like how random we can be sometimes, me and my coursemate (they're my friends too! :) ) we had a saying once that by the time we finish this 5 year course we'll have done all the crazy things already. and truth to be told, i'm looking forward to it!! nothing beats doing crazy things in a groupie! nothing!
by the way, i was a good guide anyway, nobody got lost, we achieve what we had in mind, and arrived safely, right? :)
that's all, muahS!
