vegetarianlicius

remember about the frightening flight that i took from kota kinabalu to kl? the thunderstorms? the plane was shaking so furiously that i was thinking i might actually die! seriously it was that scary that i told God that i would be a vegetarian for a week if i come out of this plane alive! i was that freak out and it wasn't funny at all if you were in that plane.

so, here comes the being a vegetarian debate for me. i suppose they are classified to various groups, i mean, some being very strict vegetarian, and some who the live by their own rules vegetarian. as a Buddhist, i know some people who are strictly vegetarians, they stay away from garlic (who knew? to me it's a vege), milk, and eggs. i consider myself in the latter group, because being a vegetarian meaning i can eat whatever that is not alive, right? (but so far i haven't eaten eggs or drank milk yet)

poultry are definitely out( althought i don't understand why some people consider fish as non meat. excuse me, you're still going to kill the fish to eat it's flesh right?) but sometimes being a vegetarian for a week made me crave for better tasting food other than salads or vege's.

so here i really salute the people who invented pseudo meat! don't get me wrong, i'm not a meat eater, but i would rather have the choice of choosing when i want to eat meat(or whatever that is not considered vegetarian).

i swear all the food above are vegetarian food. who knew if it would look that good? anyways for the past few days i've been ta-pauing(take aways) my food from the local vegetarian restaurant, and i'm happy with the food but looking people eat crabs or chicken makes me crave for one too. argh another few more days and i'll be a normal eater again.
