yup u read the title right, i'm living in a tropical country but i'm complaining about the cold wtf. i can't understand why the libraries are always this cold. it must be 15 degree celsius here, i'm not kidding. and i'm not lying about libraries being cold either. it's a fact! if you forgot your jacket be prepared to suffer the chill with your numb hands and freezing fingers, or just get the book and leave the library asap. wtf. then what's the point of the library anyway if the cold is unbearable if you stay more than 30 minutes?

in fact, i have on a sweater now but my hands are numb and slow due to the cold. and i'm typing with 2 fingers cos my other fingers are literally freeze. the sweater business in my country is good cos people need them to beat the cold. how ironic. not maintaining the right temperature and wasting excessive coldness in a building is total nonsense. i'll keep that in mind.

for now i need to find elevation drawings for the Dutch House by Rem Koolhaas. damn the library for not having his book. and the internet for not posting it. now i'll just have to keep trying by typing in different keywords. damn. and i'm hungry due to the cold!!! do forgive me for my rantings, the cold does make people cranky and hungry.

anyway i'll be declaring wednesdays as journal day, where i'll be using one really big word in my so called creative writing attempt. do comment if my future writings labelled journal _______ you. i left it blank cos i can't think of the proper word yet. do enlighten me on it.

it just so happen that our design clash with another work base's design, and that person kinda have the advantage of branding the design as his as he had a model of the design. i'm working on bottles, so i didn't make a model, and i borrowed his to show my work base lecturer the mechanism as it was similar with mine (now i realize it's the stupidest mistake i've made in my entire life), and then, (hey, i was just showing it to my lecturer and i have no intention of copying his ideas/design whatsoever), hell losses over as a course mate kinda of told me that i didn't informed that friend of mine that i was showing his design. i know i know, it was my mistake of not telling him in the first place, but my intention was purely to show the mechanism of it, and nothing else. i felt so down that day, it was as if my heart just jump out of my body and left me soul-less. i felt so guilty, i mean, i don't know why, but the guilt feeling just didn't left me till now.

i felt as if my other course mate's where thinking i was a idea stealer, and when i was working in the bengkel my other course mates were commenting on how similar our shelter looks like, wtf. hey, just because he's a tad bit better than me in studio doesn't mean that both of us won't think of the same ideas. give me a break already! i have tons of other things to fuss about already, like will my shelter stand by itself on judgement day, and is it portable, will it be too heavy? will the expenses for the materials be too expensive? will my shelter serve it's full purpose of sheltering? see what i mean? am i getting paranoid? i'm in a dilemma, seriously.

and the worst thing is i'm not sure if he's on speaking terms with me. and i can't even summon courage to walk over to his work station cos he might think i want to steal his idea or something. i'm afraid. i'm feel guilty, and i hate this feeling i have in my heart now. i hope things will get better, and i can't wait for the final presentation day to arrive so i can get over it and start a new project.

there is no holiday on new year in Johor though, which i can't freaking understand, it's a new year people!!! have a break and reflect on what your're going to do!! and i have a 6 credit class that i can't afford to miss, new year spirit eh? being busy and working on the first day of the year already!!! argh!!!! forgoing new year countdowns and late night celebrations, me and my coursemates are gonna have all night long movie marathon to celebrate anyway. who says we can't party!! :)

speaking of the coming new year, the government did give us rakyat a surprise already, which is a price hike on sugar and white bread. i'm ok with the price of sugar increasing (we shouldn't take too much sugar anyway), but why increase the price of white bread? as a student eating bread for breakfast, lunch and dinner is a norm for me when i get too lazy too go to the cafeteria. my RM2.10 bread is going to be RM2.35 i guess, (maybe a little more expensive) starting from tomorrow. new year new pricing eh? now i'm wondering if there'll be a queue outside 7-eleven or the grocery stores where people will be stacking up on white bread already. what a great start to a new year!

to everybody out there who are staying in states that declare tomorrow as a public holiday, lucky you, with a long weekend and everything. go out and celebrate! party, and be merry! as for me, my party is going to start anytime soon :)
